A Cairn is a man-made pile of stones used to mark a path to guide walkers in bad weather. This room had a 6m high stone wall to indicate that you have reached where you need to be!​ Don't let the high ceilings put you off, this is a very cozy room with its underfloor heated oak floor, plush floor rug and deep tub chairs. 

 

There is a luxury 6ft super-king size bed with crisp white bedlinen and a snuggly warm duvet to induce a great night's sleep. ​

The bathroom has a stylish basin, a walk-in shower with 'rainfall' head and luxurious stone resin bath. Large soft Egyptian Cotton towels, complimentary toiletries from The Bath House in Sedburgh and a heated floor complete the experience.

This room has its own patio facing east along the Wasdale Valley towards Scafell Pike and is the only room with a chiminea! We can provide logs for your first fire and more can be purchased.
